What’s the Project About?
In a world dominated by climate anxiety and dystopian narratives, what would it mean to flip the script?
ArtyVision is an 11-day Erasmus+ youth exchange that invites 30 young people from France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Spain to reimagine the future through artistic expression.
We’ll gather in the French countryside for a collaborative artistic residency where creativity becomes a tool for inspiration, transformation, and hope. Through photography, storytelling, visual arts, writing, and performance, participants will co-create bold narratives of what our world could be.
Objectives:
✔ Explore how art can drive social and environmental transformation
✔ Equip participants with creative tools to turn complex topics into accessible stories
✔ Encourage utopian thinking and collective imagination
✔ Facilitate intercultural collaboration and empathy
✔ Build a European network of young artists and storytellers
✔ Co-create a public exhibition with the works produced during the exchange
Who Can Apply?
✔ Young people aged 18–30
✔ Living in France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, or Spain
✔ Passionate about art, creativity, and social change
✔ Beginner or emerging storytellers, photographers, performers, visual artists, writers, etc.
✔ Open-minded and motivated to live a collective experience and co-create with others
✔ Youth from diverse or fewer opportunity backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply
Accommodation & Venue
In Laroin, near Pau, surrounded by nature
Participants will stay in shared wooden bungalows (6 people each) at Iktus Béarn campsite, with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen per bungalow
Food
✔ Breakfast prepared independently in the bungalows
✔ Lunch and dinner will be vegetarian or vegan, in line with our sustainability and inclusion values
✔ Participants with dietary needs will be accommodated
What to Bring
✔ Toiletries, comfortable clothes, raincoat, reusable bottle
✔ Optional: camera, laptop, creative materials
✔ Your European Health Card or travel insurance (mandatory)
✔ Materials for artistic creation (e.g., fabrics, magazines, recycled items)
✔ Curiosity and your will to create and connect
Travel & Costs
✔ Accommodation, food, and training are fully funded by Erasmus+
✔ Travel reimbursement up to Erasmus+ limits (e.g. up to 417€ or 535€ with green travel)
✔ Green travel is encouraged and may include extra accommodation support
✔ Travel tickets must be approved before purchase and reimbursement requires boarding passes + invoices
